About the Tutor
LeKisha Moore is a very experienced math tutor working with kids all ages. She brings extensive experience in designing, delivering, and sustaining professional development programs for educators. As Math Department Chair and Pathways Director at Open School East, she facilitates ongoing teacher training, establishes departmental performance goals, develops new curriculum frameworks, and provides structured feedback and coaching to instructional staff. She co-facilitates annual professional development sessions at her current school and regularly guest speaks at other institutions on mathematics instruction, student engagement, and reducing math anxiety. In addition, as the owner of Moore 4 More Tutoring Services for over twenty years, she has designed and implemented training systems for instructional staff, created curriculum resources, and led workshops for school districts and community organizations. Through her leadership roles, graduate work in mathematics education, and facilitated workshops, she has demonstrated a strong capacity to design scalable training programs that build educator confidence and instructional effectiveness over time.
